Terry George CEO and President Hawai‘i Community Foundation A respected and seasoned nonprofit leader with decades of experience working collaboratively across Hawaiʻi’s nonprofit, government, and community sectors, Terry George brings a deep understanding of philanthropic foundations and their role in catalyzing impact to his leadership of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF). Before taking on the role in August of 2025 as the fourth CEO and President in HCF’s 108-year history, Terry served as CEO and President of the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation for more than two decades. From 1998 to 2003, he was Chief Program Officer for the Consuelo Foundation in Hawai‘i, and from 1989 to 1998, he served in the Ford Foundation’s field offices in Manila and New Delhi as program officer for rights and social justice, local governance, and regional security and cooperation. Terry is a graduate of Punahou School and received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, his master’s degree in law and diplomacy from Tufts University, and his executive MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i. He currently sits on the boards of the Hawai‘i Business Roundtable, Hawai‘i P20 Council, HMSA, and Hanahau‘oli School, and serves on the Summer Internship Selection Committee for the Hawai‘i Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Fund. He is the past chair of the board of the National Kidney Foundation of Hawai‘i and the past president of the Rotary Club of Honolulu. A longtime Hawai‘i resident, Terry lives in Kaimukī in a three-generation household with his wife Julie, a first-grade teacher at Kamehameha Schools, their two college-aged children, and his father-in-law. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking.

As President and CEO of the 103-year-old Hawaiʻi Theatre, Gregory Dunn oversees its management and operations, continuing its legacy as a center for arts and culture. Before joining the Theatre in 2017, he served as President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Hawaiʻi. Under his leadership, the Theatre has strengthened community partnerships, including initiatives with the Hawaiʻi LGBT Legacy Foundation, which recognized him as a 2025 Visionary Award honoree.

Katie Chang is the Executive Director of the Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders. Since her appointment in 2013, Katie has expanded the CTL from its flagship Fellows program to include the innovative Ambassadors program which offers leadership development directly to Hawaiʻi’s high schools and Vanguard, CTL’s alumni initiative. She is a certified presenter of the nationally-acclaimed Student Leadership Challenge, which is the foundation of the program. Prior to joining CTL, Katie worked as an advisor for the US/UK Fulbright Commission in London, UK. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Pepperdine University and a Masters in Public Administration degree from Harvard University. She serves on the board for the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks and Recreation, Housing Hawaii’s Future and the Salvation Army.

Trinity Asing is a Native Hawaiian wahine born and raised in Kailua on the windward side of Oʻahu, where her family has lived for generations. Raised by the Koʻolau mountains and the waves of Kailua Bay, she carries a deep sense of kuleana to care for ʻāina and community. That responsibility guides her work with Pa'akai Communications and The Albizia Project, where she supports storytelling, community-centered initiatives, and values-driven solutions rooted in place. For Trinity, her work is an extension of giving back to the place and people that raised her.
